# My AI tool won't connect to DemoPage. What should I check?

> Start the connection again from your AI tool, sign in with your DemoPage account, and press Allow on the page that opens. Your email has to be confirmed first, and the tool needs https://app.demopage.io/mcp added as an HTTP server. If a tool that used to work asks you to sign in again, its connection ended, so connect it the same way.

## Connect again, step by step

1. Add the server to your tool. After you go live, Demo settings has a Build from code section with the setup for each tool. Before that, add https://app.demopage.io/mcp yourself, as [Build your demo from your code](https://demopage.io/help/build-from-code.md) shows. In Claude Code, keep --transport http in the command.
2. Start the sign-in from your tool. It opens a DemoPage page in your browser.
3. If you're signed out, the page says Sign in to connect, then your tool's name. Sign in with your DemoPage email and password.
4. Check the company and email on the page that asks Allow Cursor to use DemoPage? (with your tool's name), then press Allow.
5. Go back to your tool. After you go live, it's listed under Connected tools in Build from code.

## If DemoPage shows a message

- Confirm your email first: your email isn't confirmed yet. Open the link in the email we sent you, or send a new one from your portal, then start again from your tool. [The confirmation email](https://demopage.io/help/confirmation-email.md)
- This connection can't continue, with This app is not registered with DemoPage: DemoPage no longer has your tool's registration. Remove the DemoPage server from your tool, add it back so the tool registers with DemoPage again, then connect.
- The app sent a redirect address it did not register: the tool's saved registration doesn't match how it signs in now. Remove the server and add it back.
- PKCE with S256 is required, Only the authorization code flow is supported, or The only scope is "demopage": the tool uses a sign-in method DemoPage doesn't accept. Update the tool, and if that doesn't help, tell us which tool and version you use.
- This approval expired or was not made on DemoPage: the Allow page was open for more than 15 minutes, or you signed out or into another account before pressing Allow. Start again from your tool.
- Too many registrations from here: your network registered 20 times this hour, which happens when a tool retries over and over. Try again later.

## If your tool asks you to sign in again

- Sign in with DemoPage to use this MCP server, Sign in with DemoPage again, or The refresh token is invalid or expired: the tool's connection ended. Someone pressed Disconnect, you [reset your password](https://demopage.io/help/reset-password.md), or the tool went 30 days without use. Connect it again.
- The authorization code is invalid or expired: the tool took more than 10 minutes to finish after you pressed Allow, or it tried the same sign-in twice. Start again from your tool.
- access_denied: someone pressed Deny instead of Allow. Start again and press Allow.
- HTTP 405: the tool reached the server the wrong way. Add it again as an HTTP server, with --transport http in Claude Code.

## Signed in as someone else

The Allow page shows the company and email you're signed in as. If they're wrong, open your portal in the same browser, press Sign out, then start again from your tool and sign in with the right account. [Signing out](https://demopage.io/help/sign-out.md)

## Once it's connected

- After you go live, Connected tools in Build from code lists each tool with the date it connected and when it was last used. Disconnect ends that tool's connection.
- This account has no product yet: sign-up isn't finished. Finish it in your portal, then ask the tool again.
- Too many imports this hour: the tool sent pages 30 times this hour. Try again later.
