# What do lead alerts tell me about a lead's company?

> When a visitor gives a work email, DemoPage looks up their company and adds what it finds to your alerts: title, team sizes, funding, and the tools their website runs. It also tells you when other people from the same company showed up in the last 30 days, and when the company appears to use a competitor you listed. Visitors never see any of this.

## What an alert can include

- Profile: the person's name and title, and the company's size and industry.
- Detected stack: tools the company's website runs, such as HubSpot or Intercom.
- Company signals: the latest funding round and when, the largest teams, such as 42 in sales, and the country.
- Uses a competitor: a competitor you listed that the company's website or tools point to.
- Other people from the same company in the last 30 days, with what each of them asked. The subject says it too, like · 3 people from acme.com this month.

## List your competitors

1. Open Demo settings, then Guide and call to action.
2. Under Competitors, enter names or websites separated by commas, such as Intercom, zendesk.com. Up to 10.
3. Press Save settings.

## Where else you see it

- On the Leads tab, a lead whose colleagues also came shows a badge like 3 people from acme.com.
- At the top of the Leads tab, Companies with more than one person groups them by company for the last 30 days: each person once, with what they last did and when.
- The Monday email lists Companies with more than one person this week.
- Webhooks for finished demos and new leads carry the same company details. [Webhooks](https://demopage.io/help/send-to-webhook.md)

## What the visitor sees

A line like Tailored for VP Sales at Acme on the start card, with their company's logo when one is found. When the company is based where business runs in another language, such as Germany, the card also offers that language, like Sprache: Deutsch. Funding, competitors, and colleagues are never shown or said to a visitor.

## Where the details come from

From the visitor's work email: their company's public website and a business data provider. Personal addresses, such as Gmail, are never looked up. Details can be missing or out of date, so treat them as a starting point for your call.
