# How do I stop lead alerts for a while?

> On the Leads tab, open Where alerts go, clear Email alerts to, and press Save. Then press Turn off under Slack alerts. New leads still show on the Leads tab, and adding your addresses and channel back turns alerts on again.

Reviewed 2026-10-27.

## Pause every alert

1. Open the Leads tab, then Where alerts go.
2. Clear Email alerts to and press Save.
3. Under Slack alerts, press Turn off. It saves by itself.
4. To turn alerts back on, enter your addresses again and press Save, then connect Slack again with Add to Slack or a webhook. See [Slack alerts](https://demopage.io/help/slack-alerts.md).

## What keeps going

- New leads still show under Latest leads on the Leads tab. See [your leads list](https://demopage.io/help/see-and-export-leads.md).
- The Monday email stops while no inbox or channel is set. To stop only the Monday email, untick Monday email of what buyers asked and press Save. See [the Monday email](https://demopage.io/help/monday-email.md).
- Live demo requests still wait for you if Who gets a live demo holds them, but no alert tells you. Check Live demo requests on the Leads tab, or set Who gets a live demo to Everyone, right away. Home's Next card can also show how many are waiting. See [who gets a live demo](https://demopage.io/help/who-gets-a-live-demo.md).
- Demos before the first call are still made, without alerts. Ones that aren't emailed to the lead wait under Demo before the first call. See [a demo before the first call](https://demopage.io/help/demo-before-first-call.md).
- A webhook keeps getting events. To stop it, clear Webhook URL on the Demo settings tab and press Save settings. See [sending to a webhook](https://demopage.io/help/send-to-webhook.md).

While Email alerts to is empty, a lead who replies to a demo DemoPage emailed them doesn't reach your team. Untick Email the lead their demo when every page loads as expected under Demo before the first call, or keep one address.

## Fewer alerts instead

To get fewer alerts rather than none, keep one shared inbox under Email alerts to, or move Slack alerts to a quieter channel with Change channel. Watching, pricing, and follow-up alerts already come at most once a day per person.
