# I signed up with the wrong email. What do I do?

> Sign up again with the right address. The portal can't change the email on an account, and an account whose email was never confirmed does nothing: DemoPage doesn't read its site, and it can't go live. If you already confirmed the account and want another address on it, talk to us.

## Check the address you used

Your portal shows the address under your company name at the top, and after We sent it to on the confirmation screen.

A typo in the domain also changes your company name and website, because DemoPage takes both from your email. The sign-up form showed that website after We'll read.

## Start again with the right address

1. Press Sign out at the top of the portal.
2. Open app.demopage.io/signup and sign up with the right work email. [Which email works](https://demopage.io/help/signup-email.md)
3. Open the confirmation email in that inbox and press the link. [No email?](https://demopage.io/help/confirmation-email.md)

## What happens to the first account

Nothing. Until its email is confirmed, it can't read your site, go live, or take your demo link's name. Its confirmation link stops working after 7 days. [How the link is named](https://demopage.io/help/demo-link-name.md)

## Already confirmed

The portal has no setting to change the account email. [Talk to us](https://demopage.io/help/contact-us.md) and tell us both addresses.
