# DemoPage for education: Show teachers, admins, and students where to click.

> DemoPage walks teachers, administrators, and college students through your learning platform or student portal: building a course, grading, registering for classes, or submitting work. It uses a practice account with made-up learners, narrates each screen, and answers from your help center. Grades, admissions, fees, and changes in real accounts stay with your staff.

For: Edtech companies, colleges, universities, and training providers.

## What it walks

- **Demos for schools** ([Sales demos](https://demopage.io/use-cases/sales-demos.md)). A curriculum lead asks to see assignments and grading and watches it on a practice account, shaped to the tools they named.
- **Term-start setup** ([Onboarding](https://demopage.io/use-cases/onboarding.md)). Each new school sees setup in order (rosters, courses, and grading periods) before the first training day.
- **Teacher training** ([Training](https://demopage.io/use-cases/training.md)). Teachers learn a task in a practice course: the guide shows it, then they do it, and each step passes when the screen shows it.
- **Student and parent how-tos** ([Support](https://demopage.io/use-cases/support.md)). “Where do I submit my assignment?” gets the matching help article and the screens, in the visitor's language.

## What stays with your team

- Grades, admissions, and financial aid decisions
- Fees and payments
- Changes in a real student's account
- Anything about a specific student

In any demo, DemoPage never does these:
- Pay for anything
- Sign anyone up
- Change your CRM
- Make a phone call
- Send an email
- Use a visitor's own login
- Open a page you didn't pick
- Promise a discount

## What it needs

A practice account with made-up students and courses, and the help center that's allowed to answer. DemoPage's terms don't allow protected health information, payment card data, or government ID numbers in sandboxes or the pages you pick. A live demo can run in 17 languages.

## An example

Product: Lumen Classroom (a sample product)
- Company: Riverside Community College
- Problem: Every adjunct sets up the gradebook differently each term.
- Uses: Google Workspace
- Wants to see: A weighted gradebook, set up once

Stops:
1. Gradebook setup (/gradebook/setup): Categories carry their own weights.
2. Grading periods (/settings/terms): Periods follow the college calendar.
3. Course templates (/courses/templates): Adjuncts start from one shared template.

Visitor asks: "Can a template lock the weights?"
Answer: The gradebook guide says admins can lock category weights on a template.
Handoff: Pricing and the campus contract go to your team.

## Questions

**Can students use it?**
College students and adult learners, yes. DemoPage isn't meant for children under 16, so for K–12 schools, use it with teachers, staff, and parents.

**Does it work with our LMS?**
If what you want to show runs in a web browser and you can give it a practice account, DemoPage can walk it. Link the demo from your course page, LMS, or help center.

**Can it teach in other languages?**
Yes. A live demo can run in 17 languages, including Spanish, French, Hindi, and Chinese, with the page, the voiceover, and the answers in that language.
