# DemoPage for healthcare: Show clinical software without a single real patient.

> DemoPage walks practice managers, clinic staff, and administrators through your healthcare software on a test account with made-up patients: scheduling, intake, messaging, and billing screens. It narrates each step and answers only from pages you approved. Clinical questions and anything involving a real patient go to your team, and protected health information stays out of it.

For: Health tech companies selling to practices, clinics, and hospitals.

## What it walks

- **Demos for practices** ([Sales demos](https://demopage.io/use-cases/sales-demos.md)). A practice manager asks to see scheduling and reminders and watches them on the test account, shaped to the systems they named.
- **Go-live prep** ([Onboarding](https://demopage.io/use-cases/onboarding.md)). Before the kickoff, each new clinic sees setup in the order it needs: locations, providers, and appointment types.
- **Staff training** ([Training](https://demopage.io/use-cases/training.md)). Front-desk staff practice check-in on a training account. Each step passes when the screen shows it, and every learner gets a completion record.
- **Staff how-tos** ([Support](https://demopage.io/use-cases/support.md)). “How do I add a new provider?” gets the matching help article and the screens on the test account, not in the clinic's live account.

## What stays with your team

- Clinical questions and anything that sounds like medical advice
- Anything involving a real patient or record
- Billing disputes and insurance questions
- Changes in a live clinic account

In any demo, DemoPage never does these:
- Pay for anything
- Sign anyone up
- Change your CRM
- Make a phone call
- Send an email
- Use a visitor's own login
- Open a page you didn't pick
- Promise a discount

## What it needs

A test account with made-up patients, and the product and help pages that are allowed to answer. DemoPage's terms don't allow protected health information, payment card data, or government ID numbers in sandboxes or the pages you pick. A live demo can run in 17 languages.

## An example

Product: Juniper Scheduling (a sample product)
- Company: Lakeside Pediatrics
- Problem: The front desk spends mornings confirming appointments by phone.
- Uses: athenahealth
- Wants to see: Reminders and online booking

Stops:
1. Appointment types (/settings/appointment-types): Each type has its own length and rules.
2. Text reminders (/settings/reminders): Reminders go out 48 and 2 hours before.
3. Online booking (/booking): Patients see open slots only.

Visitor asks: "Does it sync with athenahealth?"
Answer: The integrations page lists a two-way athenahealth sync for appointments.
Handoff: Contract, pricing, and the go-live date go to your team.

## Questions

**Does DemoPage handle protected health information?**
No. Its terms don't allow protected health information in sandboxes or the pages you pick, so demos run in a test account with made-up patients. Anything about a real patient goes to your team.

**Can patients use it?**
Not today. A patient could type health details into a question, and DemoPage isn't set up to hold them. Use it with practice staff, administrators, and buyers.

**Will it answer clinical questions?**
No. It explains your software from your own pages. Anything clinical goes to your team.
