# DemoPage for real estate and property: Show managers, owners, and residents the real screens.

> DemoPage walks property managers, owners, and residents through your property software on a test portfolio: listings, applications, maintenance requests, and rent screens. It explains each step and answers from your own pages. Leases, application decisions, rent payments, and fair-housing questions stay with your team, and it never submits a payment.

For: Property management, real estate, and proptech software companies.

## What it walks

- **Demos for management companies** ([Sales demos](https://demopage.io/use-cases/sales-demos.md)). A regional manager asks to see maintenance and owner reporting and watches it on a test portfolio, shaped to the tools they named.
- **Resident how-tos** ([Support](https://demopage.io/use-cases/support.md)). “How do I set up autopay?” gets the help article and the screens on a test unit. The resident turns it on in their own account.
- **Portfolio setup** ([Onboarding](https://demopage.io/use-cases/onboarding.md)). New customers see setup in order (properties, units, fees, and owners) before migration day.
- **Leasing staff training** ([Training](https://demopage.io/use-cases/training.md)). New leasing agents practice a move-in on a training portfolio, with a completion record for each.

## What stays with your team

- Leases and application decisions
- Rent payments and deposits
- Fair-housing and legal questions
- Changes in a real resident's account

In any demo, DemoPage never does these:
- Pay for anything
- Sign anyone up
- Change your CRM
- Make a phone call
- Send an email
- Use a visitor's own login
- Open a page you didn't pick
- Promise a discount

## What it needs

A test portfolio with made-up properties and residents, and the product and help pages that are allowed to answer. DemoPage's terms don't allow protected health information, payment card data, or government ID numbers in sandboxes or the pages you pick. A live demo can run in 17 languages.

## An example

Product: Keystone Property Cloud (a sample product)
- Company: Oakridge Residential
- Problem: Maintenance requests come in by phone and get lost.
- Uses: QuickBooks
- Wants to see: Maintenance requests and vendor dispatch

Stops:
1. Request inbox (/maintenance): Residents submit from the portal or by text.
2. Vendor dispatch (/maintenance/dispatch): Work orders go to your vendor list.
3. Owner report (/reports/owners): Owners see costs by property.

Visitor asks: "Can residents attach photos?"
Answer: The maintenance guide says residents can attach up to five photos to a request.
Handoff: Pricing and data migration go to your team.

## Questions

**Can DemoPage take a rental application or payment?**
No. It never submits a payment or a final form. Applications, leases, and payments are completed by the person or by your team.

**Will it answer fair-housing questions?**
No. It explains your software from your own pages and passes legal and fair-housing questions to your team.

**Does it work for brokerage software too?**
Yes, for any real estate software that runs in a web browser (CRM, showing, or transaction screens), on a test account with made-up clients.
