# A live product demo in German, for the buyer who asks in German.

> German (Deutsch) is one of DemoPage's 17 live-demo languages. A buyer who picks German gets chat, narration in the voice stock_hanna_de, and answers in German, and can ask out loud. Your product's screens stay as you built them, and answers come only from pages you approved.

## What your German-speaking buyer reads

The product's own German text, as shipped. Read it before you send a German link.

| Where | In German |
| --- | --- |
| Live demo button | Zur Live-Demo |
| Recording button | Aufzeichnung ansehen |
| Ask a question | Frage stellen |
| Ask out loud | Laut fragen |
| Try it yourself | Selbst ausprobieren |

- Before a live demo: your sandbox, not their login; no payment, sign-up, or CRM write: "Die Live-Demo nutzt die Sandbox dieses Teams, nicht Ihren Login. Es wird keine Zahlung, Anmeldung oder CRM-Eingabe vorgenommen."
- When a click would change something: "Diese Änderung ist in dieser Demo schreibgeschützt."
- After the demo: answers stay on approved pages: "Fragen Sie alles zu dem, was Sie gesehen haben. Antworten basieren auf den freigegebenen Seiten dieses Teams."

## Questions in German: answered, or sent to your team

German has spoken questions: press the microphone button and speak, or type. We wrote the two examples below for this page; they aren't a real visitor's words.

- Answered from your pages, when they cover it: "Läuft die Demo auf dem echten Produkt, oder sind das nur Screenshots?" (Does the demo run on the real product, or is it just screenshots?)
- Sent to your team, because DemoPage never promises a discount: "Können Sie uns einen Rabatt anbieten, wenn wir noch dieses Quartal unterschreiben?" (Can you offer us a discount if we sign this quarter?)

Pages you approved in another language still feed German answers. Ask a few German questions yourself first; the wording may not read like a native copywriter's.

## When not to use DemoPage for this

- DemoPage doesn't translate your product. If its screens are English, German buyers see English screens beside German narration.
- A recording made in another language isn't re-voiced into German.

## Questions

**Can visitors ask questions out loud in German?**
Yes. The visitor presses the microphone button, labelled "Laut fragen", and the question is transcribed. They can type instead.

**Is a recording in German too?**
A recording keeps the language it was made in, and says so on screen, in German: "Die Aufzeichnung ist in der Originalsprache. Chat und Antworten sind auf Deutsch."

**How do I send a German link to a buyer?**
Add ?lang=de to your demo link, for example https://app.demopage.io/d/demopage?lang=de, or data-language="de" to the embed script. A browser set to German opens it in German anyway.
