# A live product demo in Japanese, for the buyer who asks in Japanese.

> Japanese (日本語) is one of DemoPage's 17 live-demo languages. A buyer who picks Japanese gets chat, narration in the voice stock_anna_ja, and answers in Japanese, and types their questions. Your product's screens stay as you built them, and answers come only from pages you approved.

- Before a live demo: your sandbox, not their login; no payment, sign-up, or CRM write: "ライブデモはこのチームのサンドボックスを使用します。お客様のログインは不要です。支払い、登録、CRMへの書き込みは行われません。"
- When a click would change something: "その変更はこのデモでは読み取り専用です。"
- After the demo: answers stay on approved pages: "ご覧になった内容について何でも質問してください。回答はこのチームが承認したページ内に限定されます。"

## Questions in Japanese: answered, or sent to your team

Japanese has no spoken questions yet, so there is no microphone button and Japanese-speaking visitors type. We wrote the two examples below for this page; they aren't a real visitor's words.

- Answered from your pages, when they cover it: "既存のCRMと連携できますか？" (Can it connect to our existing CRM?)
- Sent to your team, because DemoPage never promises a discount: "来月までに契約すれば割引してもらえますか？" (If we sign by next month, can we get a discount?)

Pages you approved in another language still feed Japanese answers. Ask a few Japanese questions yourself first; the wording may not read like a native copywriter's.

## When not to use DemoPage for this

- DemoPage doesn't translate your product. If its screens are English, Japanese buyers see English screens beside Japanese narration.
- A buyer who wants to speak their question needs one of the spoken languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, nl.

## Questions

**Can visitors ask questions out loud in Japanese?**
Not yet. Spoken questions cover English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, nl. A Japanese-speaking visitor types, and the demo answers in Japanese.

**Is a recording in Japanese too?**
A recording keeps the language it was made in, and says so on screen, in Japanese: "録画は元の言語で再生されます。チャットと回答は日本語で表示されます。"

**How do I send a Japanese link to a buyer?**
Add ?lang=ja to your demo link, for example https://app.demopage.io/d/demopage?lang=ja, or data-language="ja" to the embed script. A browser set to Japanese opens it in Japanese anyway.
