Accessibility

Accessibility at DemoPage.

DemoPage aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on demopage.io and on the demo pages visitors use. Every page template is checked with automated WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules at desktop and phone sizes, narration is shown as captions, and screen readers hear new chat messages. Automated checks don't catch everything, so tell us what we missed.

How we check

We run axe-core's WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules over one page of every kind on this site, and over the demo page, at desktop and phone sizes. Last run September 29, 2026: no violations after the fixes it found (a low-contrast placeholder and a table that couldn't be scrolled from the keyboard).

What works today

  • ✓Narration is shown as on-screen captions, and new chat messages and demo steps are announced to screen readers.
  • ✓The demo page, the spoken narration, and the answers come in 17 languages.
  • ✓Animations follow your device's reduce-motion setting, and the demo illustration stays still.
  • ✓Menus open and close from the keyboard, and Escape closes them. Form fields have labels, and errors are announced.
  • ✓Wide tables scroll on phones and can be reached with the keyboard.

What doesn't yet

  • ·The live demo is a video of a browser. A screen reader can't read the product inside it; the captions and the chat carry what the guide says and shows.
  • ·The products DemoPage demos keep their own accessibility. DemoPage shows them as they are.
  • ·Automated checks catch only part of the problems, and there hasn't been a manual audit by an outside firm yet.
