Short answer
A failed renewal doesn't stop your plan right away: it keeps working, and DemoPage emails you to update the payment. If PayPal then suspends the subscription, your demo goes back to the Free plan's limits until you update the payment in PayPal or pick a plan on the Plan tab.
What you'll see
- An email to your sign-up address with the subject DemoPage couldn't renew your plan, at most once a day.
- While PayPal keeps the subscription going, the Plan tab still shows your plan.
- If PayPal suspends it, the Plan tab says, for example, PayPal couldn't renew Starter, so your link is back on the Free plan's limits. Update your payment in PayPal or pick a plan below to turn your monthly pack back on.
- If that email went to an address you no longer read, see the wrong sign-up email.
How to fix it
- Update the payment for your DemoPage subscription in PayPal. When PayPal collects it, your plan carries on.
- If the Plan tab still shows the Free plan's limits, pick a plan there. It starts as soon as PayPal confirms it, and DemoPage cancels the suspended subscription.
While it's suspended
- Your demo has the Free plan's limits: 3 live demos a month and up to 5 a day, plus any top-ups still in their 30 days.
- Live demos from the last 30 days still count, so most visitors watch the recording until it's fixed, and you still get their details.
- Nothing more is charged until you update the payment or pick a plan.
