How do I get DemoPage leads into HubSpot, Salesforce, or another CRM?

Short answer

From Starter, three ways, each with the same CRM-ready record for every lead. A webhook sends each new lead and finished demo to Zapier, Make, or n8n as it happens. The leads API reads your leads, earlier ones included, with a key from Demo settings, under Connect your CRM. An AI tool connected to DemoPage and to your CRM copies leads across when you ask.

With a webhook and Zapier, Make, or n8n

  1. 1In Zapier, start a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier and Catch Hook, and copy its address. In Make, use a Custom webhook; in n8n, a Webhook node.
  2. 2In DemoPage, open Demo settings, then Guide and call to action. Open Send finished demos to a webhook (optional), paste the address under Webhook URL, and press Save settings.
  3. 3Open your demo link and send the form with your own work email, so your tool receives a sample lead.captured event.
  4. 4Let only events whose event is lead.captured through, then add your CRM's step: Create or Update Contact in HubSpot, Find or Create Lead in Salesforce, or Create Person in Pipedrive. Map the fields from crm.
  5. 5Add one more step that puts crm.note on that contact as a note, so your team sees what they asked and saw.

To log finished live demos too, add a path for demo.completed. It has the same crm record, with the pages seen and, on Growth and above, the recap link.

Which crm field goes where

  • email: the contact's email. Match on it, so a person who comes back updates the same contact.
  • firstName and lastName: their name, when the company lookup or the email shows it.
  • company, domain, and title: the company, its website, and their job title. companySize, industry, and country fill the company record.
  • reason: demo, pricing, or follow-up. Pricing and follow-up mean they asked your team to get in touch.
  • interest: what they want, in their words.
  • source: always DemoPage, for a lead source field.
  • note: a summary for the contact's timeline, with the pages they saw, their questions, the demo's language when it wasn't English, and the recap link.
  • A field DemoPage doesn't know is empty, and companySize is null.

With the leads API

To run your own sync, or to bring in leads from before the webhook, make a key in Demo settings, under Connect your CRM, and read GET /api/v1/leads. Each lead has an id, so a sync can skip the ones it already has. The API and MCP server

In Zapier, Webhooks by Zapier with Retrieve Poll can read it on a schedule: put Authorization: Bearer and your key in the headers, and leads as the key to read.

With an AI tool

Connect DemoPage's MCP server and your CRM's to the same AI tool, such as Claude or ChatGPT, then ask, for example, Copy this week's DemoPage leads into HubSpot. It lists the leads, says what it will create or update, and writes only after you agree. The prompt Copy my DemoPage leads into my CRM walks it through. Build your demo from your code

Good to know

  • DemoPage never writes to your CRM itself. Your webhook tool, your own code, or your AI tool does, with your CRM's permissions.
  • A new webhook gets only the leads that come after it. Use the API for the ones before.
  • Help requests from the demo's chat aren't leads, so they aren't sent or listed.
  • Webhooks and the leads API are included from Starter. Plans compared
