Short answer
Open Demo settings, pick the language the guide starts in, press Hear the guide to listen to its voice, and press Open demo to go through the demo as a visitor would. Your tests send alerts and show up in Results like a visitor's, and they count toward the daily live-demo limit.
Try it
- 1Open Demo settings and find Language and voice. Pick the language the guide starts in, or keep Visitor's browser. Choosing the start language
- 2Press Hear the guide. It plays a short sample of the voice for that language, and the button says Playing… until it ends.
- 3Press Open demo. The demo opens in a new tab, in the language you picked. Home has the same button under Your demo link.
- 4Enter your work email and say what you want to see. Try a live demo, and ask a question or two. What visitors see
- 5Check the button on your site in a private window, so you see what a new visitor sees. Button not showing?
Limits that apply to your tests
- Tests from an email at your company's domain don't use your monthly live demos, but they count toward the daily limit, 5 a day on the trial. What counts as a live demo
- Each visitor can start 3 live demos an hour, and DemoPage tells visitors apart by network address, so teammates in one office share that limit. Past it, the demo says You've started a few live demos in the last hour and plays the recording.
- Hear the guide plays up to 30 times an hour. After that it says You've heard the guide several times this hour. Try again later.
Your tests look like leads
DemoPage treats your own tests like any visitor's. They show up in Results and under Latest leads, and they send alerts, so tell your team before you test. Where leads go
When you're done
Until the demo has been opened once, by you or a visitor, the Next card on Home can say Open the demo once before you share it. Then share the link or add the button. Sharing your link
